York is now retired. He continues to grace our lives with his beauty, intelligence, and dignity and has a place with us here until the end of his days. In years past you would have been hard pressed to find a grittier, more determined worker than York. He got the job done. As a sire, York consistently passed this grit to his offspring. Moreover, he was also noted for stamping them with his wonderful flexibility and breathtaking movement—traits that soon became a trademark in his offspring making them easily recognizable as his own. Without question York's blood has blended well with our female line and it will continue to be of tremendous value in our breeding program through his daughters and their descendants for many years to come.
