Much of the success we currently enjoy can be directly attributed to the outstanding matriarch Round the Bend Wrinkle. Wrinkle was amazingly prepotent, consistently bestowing her many virtues to her offspring, and has rightfully earned a spot among the top producers in the breed. In the field Wrinkle worked with tremendous enthusiasm from her first time out and held a JRTCA Natural Hunting Certificate to Groundhog. She was shown on a limited basis and was always in the ribbons before being retired to the whelping box and her destiny.

Wrinkle is the dam of Little Eden Bagpiper, Little Eden Willow and Little Eden Cracker Dog, all of whom have earned the JRTCA Bronze Medallion for Special Merit in the Field, as well as numerous other working and winning offspring. At the 2002 JRTCA National Trial alone, twelve of Wrinkle’s first and second generation descendents won or placed in conformation classes, including grandson Little Eden Strut who was Best Open Dog.

Although Wrinkle is now happily retired to a well-deserved life of leisure, she remains a cornerstone in the foundation of our breeding program through several generations of her descendents. A number of Wrinkle daughters have proven to be producers of merit in their own right, notably Little Eden Bagpiper, Little Eden Tag, Little Eden Reveille and Little Eden Cracker Dog. We have equally high hopes in our kennel for Wrinkle grandson Little Eden Strut, as well as granddaughter Little Eden Foxy and great granddaughters Little Eden Brit, Little Eden Vixen and Little Eden Cleo. Terriers from our “Wrinkle line” can be easily recognized for their narrow fronts, well-laid back shoulders, strong rear assemblies, good bone, precise movement and steady temperaments.

We are truly blessed to have had the opportunity to share our lives with a brood matron of Wrinkle’s quality—and for this we are forever grateful to Sandy Ryan who bred Wrinkle.
