Round The Bend Wrinkle ..... gone, but never forgotten.
13.5" Tan/White Broken Coat, 1/27/96 - 10/12/10, PLL- DNA Carrier
Anyone who has studied our breeding program will notice that most of our terriers have Round the Bend Wrinkle in their pedigrees. Although Wrinkle was not the first bitch we owned, we consider her our "foundation" bitch. It became apparent early on that Wrinkle and her progeny had an abundance of the qualities we were seeking and that the line could be counted on for reproducing these virtues. Much of the success we currently enjoy can be directly attributed to this outstanding Matriarch. Wrinkle was amazingly prepotent, consistently bestowing her many virtues to her offspring, and has rightfully earned a spot among the top producers in the breed. In the field Wrinkle worked with tremendous enthusiasm from her first time out and held a JRTCA Natural Hunting Certificate to Groundhog. She was shown on a limited basis and was always in the ribbons before being retired to the whelping box and her destiny.
Wrinkle is the dam of Little Eden Bagpiper, Little Eden Willow and Little Eden Cracker Dog, all of whom earned the JRTCA Bronze Medallion for Special Merit in the Field, as well as numerous other working and winning offspring. Even better, her daughters and their descendants have carried on in grand style as producers. We consider several of them, including Little Eden Brit, Little Eden Brillo, Little Eden Brisk, Little Eden Cleo, Little Eden Stroll, Little Eden Bree, Little Eden Gwen, and Little Eden Lofty to be true foundation bitches in their own right.

Today, as clearly as in years past, terriers from our “Wrinkle line” can be easily recognized for their narrow fronts, well-laid back shoulders, strong rear assemblies, good bone, precise movement and steady temperaments.
We are truly blessed to have had the opportunity to share our lives with a brood matron of Wrinkle’s quality—and for this we are forever grateful to Sandy Ryan who bred Wrinkle. |
